Girly Nights

So the last few weeks I have had some fun nights out with the girls. Last night especially, me, Jenny and Jenessa ate peppermint ice cream with hot fudge.....oh so good!!! I want more!!! I love my girlfriends!!

Twlight Frenzy

So I went to go see Twilight...much anticipated. I have read the series and I couldn't put them down...it was like an addiction. I even read one during school....that is a big No No for me. I only read for pleasure when I am not in school. So the movie was just like the book. Some of the actors were not how I pictured but by the end of the movie all the actors had grown on me. I highly recommend the books more though. Somehow Stephanie Meyer is able to express, describe, and deliver the emotion and feeling so intricately experienced by each character. The movie is not able to do this, especially because you don't get all the mental dialogue that goes on in the book. So, read the book, see the movie, but love it all!

Living One Day at a Time

It has been an interesting weekend for Southern California. Wildfires have been out of control and have come closer than the ever have to where I live. Friends and church members have had to leave their homes and pray as the fires rapidly consumed everything in its path. Thank heavens no one I personally know has had their house destroyed but there are thousands whose lives have changed as thier houses burned. Smoke and ash have covered the area making it difficult for some to breath. I can't help but think about what it will be like in the last days when destruction is even worse and all people are affected. It sure has scared a lot of people into finally getting more prepared for disasters that will one day inevitably impact us all. This is only the beginning and all we can do is live one day at a time.

I succumbed to popularity

So I decided that since I am finally starting to do some interesting things with my life it might be best to share with everyone through a blog. It is simple and even my grandparents will be able to check it out without too many problems. So I have posted some pictures of what has been going on in the last few months.
