We all went to take family pictures for the annual Christmas card. Of course it is becoming a little more difficult getting the little ones to cooperate.

Here is my sister and her husband and their two children, with one coming in February.

And here is the whole family together. It was quite a bit of fun, and little Joshua obviously was more interested in something else going on than looking at the camera. Got to love kids.

Earlier this week my mother and I took care of Joshua and Elsie for 3 nights and 4 days. Let me tell you, I will never do that again. I have been properly introduced to the exhausting and overwhelming role of motherhood. Although I love them dearly, I like my uninterrupted sleep at night and not having a constant mess, a shadow following me everywhere, and more energy than I have ever experienced in my lifetime!

I feel you Shawni! I can barely handle Haven for 1 day, no nights. . . I don't know how I'll ever be a mother.

Those pictures turned out so great! It is a whole other ballgame with kids involved. You know, motherhood is easier when they are your own and your house is equipped for those kids. Also, when they're yours, you can ignore them and just not tell anybody. ;)

that is great you guys were able to get family pics. Your sisters kids are so so cute. By-the-way, being a mom to one kid is easy so now I am really nervous about two..yikes! hope you have a merry Christmas!
