Brunette!

SO I have gone brunette in the past and hated it......the last time I remember liking it was when my little sister got married nearly 6 years ago! The last time I went brunette I hated it and dyed it back blond within a month. But, I decided to try it again and was so glad I did. I even went to a brand new hair stylist, so I was really taking a risk. But I am so glad I took the risk. My new hair stylist did an amazing job, not too dark and not too ashy!!! I absolutely love it!!! Must admit, I have been having lots of fun with my brunette hair too! Who says blonds have more fun?

October Fun!!!!

So in Vegas each year the radio station 94.1 puts on this big event called The Bite of Las Vegas. It has lots of restaurants from all over Vegas come and offer different types of food and bands come and play as well. This year the Plain White T's, Sara Barelleis and Switchfoot came. We only saw the Plain White T's because unless you want to eat all day there wasn't much else to do in between the hours between bands playing.

Me and my friend Kristy decided to try pulling a full size GMC truck hoping to show up the boys.

We watched others do it before us and got a rhythm going to get momentum and sure enough.....

We pulled that truck a good 10 yards. Believe it or not, some teams of boys couldn't even pull it. We were very proud of ourselves!!!

Mountain Biking....A New Adventure!

So my roommate and I went with some guy friends to go Mountain Biking up at Brian Head in Utah. It was absolutely gorgeous, the leaves were turning all different reds, yellows, and browns so it was really felt like fall. My roommate Kaitlin and I had a blast although there weren't any beginner trails for us, we were kind of thrown right in and the boys of course did all sorts of crazy jumps and went way too fast! We split off from the boys after the first have of our first trip down the mountain. Our second trip we had a lot of fun and really got the hang of it. The pictures don't do it justice, it is a lot harder than it looks, and boy do you get a sore butt after wards!

At the resort we stopped at for breakfast there was a hillbilly old man on this lift thing and my roommate Kaitlin asked him if we could go for a ride.....he thought we were joking until we started to get into the little box. It was fun!

New Roomies!

I moved into a new house on September 1st and am loving it. I got great girls to live with. We have fun making dinner and just chatting away. Here we all are at Jennifer's symphony, she is sooooo talented!!!

Last of Summer Adventures!

I have been gone the last 6 weekends to go on some adventure whether it was a cabin trip, Idaho or California, it has been fun but exhausting. Labor day weekend I flew up to Idaho to visit my sister and her family. She had a 4th baby, little Jared on July 28th so I wanted to see my new nephew!!! I love these kids and it was so much fun!

Last weekend I went to California for my future sister-in-law's bridal shower. She is beautiful!!!

Later that night I drove up to Palmdale with some friends to go to Ashley's engagement party. She spent the last year in Switzerland and fell in love while over there. She will be getting married in December in Switzerland and living over there. I hadn't seen her since she came back in July so it was great to see her and meet her man! Definitely making a trip to Switzerland in the future!!!

Because we drove 2 hours to Palmdale some of us felt like we had to make it worth it so after the engagement party we hit up BJ's for some delicious pizookie!!!

Before heading back to Vegas I stopped to see my good friend Jon. we always have fun together. Everyone wants us to get married but its just not going to happen.

It was fun the last 6 weeks but I am glad to have some time to hang out with my Vegas friends for awhile...they keep wondering what happened to me!

Some muddy fun!!!

One of my friends here in Vegas invited a bunch of us up to his family's cabin in Duck Creek (Near Cedar City, Ut) for the weekend. It was such a fun trip.

The boys even did most of the cooking! Some of the best food ever!!!

The most fun we had was 4 wheeling...it had rained the few days before so there was lots of mud to play in. I got pretty muddy.

We found a big pool of water/mud and went to town...I think we drove through it like 10 times.

We were all covered in mud by the end of our adventure but it was so much fun!!!

Lose one roommate.....gain 2 more!!!

So my roommate got married and while she was stunningly beautiful and it was a wonderful step in her life.....I was a little sad because that meant I had to move out of her house. She was one of the best roommates ever....it was just the 2 of us the last 4 months so it was nice.

Well I couldn't find anything affordable in my ward to rent until September 1st so I moved in with my friend Lori temporarily and we share her huge master bedroom. I just threw my mattress on the floor but she has 2 dogs and they automatically thought it was their bed too!!!

Those of you who know me know that I am not a big animal person, so it has been quite an adjustment since the dogs sleep in the room with us, every once in awhile they try to sleep with me but I always push them off my bed. They try so hard to get me to love them and sometimes I give in and give them a little attention, but I will never give up my bed!
